Bricks Environment and Climate Hub Initiative

While we acknowledge the role played by all stake holders in the conservation of Environment and Climate Change adaption and mitigation, I wish to introduce our new and finest team player; Bricks Environment and Climate Hub Initiative Uganda.

Whereas the country is still struggling with extreme levels of poverty, unpredicted seasonal changes, persistent parasites, influx of invasive species, unyielding mindsets, irksome political will etc. Environmental Hub Uganda has renewed its commitment to addressing all the mentioned queries by focusing on scientific research (Qualitative & Quantitative) as a major tool for Environmental Conservation and Climate Change mitigation.

Since little or wrong is still known about the African continent, the provision of timely and accurate information of information through our joint initiatives with the academia from major East African countries and in Europe is to foster the rapid but sustainable development mother earth. The African Research Institute of Environment and Climate (ARIEC) hosted by the Environmental Sciences department under the Faculty of Science, Kyambogo University is to introduce multisector training and mentorship through various field and exchange programs while fostering gender equity and native based innovations for sustainability and Climate Action.

I therefore take the honor to applaud all the subscribers of Bricks Environment and Climate Hub Initiative and all leadership; top management as well as our esteemed Board members for the great role they play in saving mother earth and conserving for generations.

At the Environment and Climate Hub, we support all start-ups in different field s of the Environment, targeting those of marginalized categories of people, PWDs, women & youth led among others. We have stretched to cover the effects of Climate Change as well such as being at the frontline of the fight to ensure sustainability in mitigation and adaptation.
